Transwestern Facilitates Full-Floor Expansion at Class A Office Building
March 03, 2026
WASHINGTON – Transwestern announces Convene Hospitality Group (CHG) has expanded its footprint in Washington, D.C., with a 26,615-square-foot lease on the 6th floor at Hamilton Square, a 316,778-square-foot, Class A office property at 600 14th Street NW. The lease brings CHG’s footprint at the building to three floors totaling 79,850 square feet. Transwestern’s Larry Serota, John Schlegel, and Collin Brown represented CHG in the expansion, and the team serves as the exclusive leasing broker for its private WorkPlaces at Hamilton Square, which are 100% leased.
“As the single largest provider of dedicated meeting and event venues in the country, CHG has demonstrated the strength of its award-winning, hospitality-driven model,” said Serota, Transwestern Services Executive Managing Director. “This expansion reinforces CHG’s commitment to D.C. and enables the company to continue meeting the high demand for thoughtfully curated meetings and events as well as premium flexible workspaces in core, amenity-rich environments.”
Convene Hamilton Square delivers a modern, thoughtfully designed workplace experience. Members enjoy 24/7 security, on-site dining, a 5-star culinary program, a full-service gym with lockers and showers, underground parking, and a spacious rooftop deck. The space features beautifully designed, light-filled rooms, a mix of quiet and collaborative areas, tenant appreciation events, and six flexible meeting rooms, including a penthouse conference center. Additionally, a Community Membership provides access to Convene’s other metro Washington location and its nationwide network.
One of the most strategically positioned coworking, meeting, and event destinations in downtown D.C.’s Business Improvement District, Convene Hamilton Square is just steps from the White House and the National Mall. The property is surrounded by top-tier restaurants and hotels, including the Old Ebbitt Grill and the Willard InterContinental, and is within walking distance of several Metro stations.
“Expanding at Hamilton Square was a natural next step for us as we see a growing appetite for hospitality-driven office space in the District,” said Brian Holland, SVP of Real Estate at Convene Hospitality Group. “With the sixth floor now part of our portfolio, we’re able to offer more versatility to our clients, ensuring that every meeting and workday is supported by our signature culinary program and dedicated on-site teams.”
