Mike Honsa joined Equity Commercial Services, the predecessor to Transwestern in the Twin Cities, in 2004. He focuses his work on the development of new business along with the marketing of third party brokerage and tenant representation accounts. Mike provides Transwestern with a strong business background and a teamwork driven approach which is essential to exceeding the expectations of his clients. During his career, Mike has worked on transactions totaling over three million square feet. His client list includes Travelers, Wrigleys, Interstate Partners, Opus Northwest, Ryan Companies, McGough Construction, Fiserv, IRET and Behringer Harvard. 


Mike has been responsible for over 3 million square feet of sale and lease transactions in the past 3 years. He has been named a Power Broker by Costar for the past five years. In 2008 he was named Rising Star of the Year by the Minnesota Commercial Association of REALTORS (MNCAR). He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Commercial Association of REALTORS and he is a candidate for designation for Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM).
Mike came to Equity from the 3M Championship, where he was the Director of Corporate Outings and Merchandise.  His responsibilities included overseeing the Corporate Outings & Merchandise Sales for one of the largest events on both the Champions Tour and PGA Tour.  Along with his outings and merchandise duties, Mike assisted with the overall marketing and branding of the event.

He received his B.S. in Business Economics and Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
