Michael Markwordt

As an Associate on Transwestern’s New York Tenant Advisory team, Michael advises clients on leasing strategy, market opportunities, and workplace solutions. He helps clients navigate New York City’s complex office market with a focus on clear guidance, responsive execution, and long-term real estate value.

Michael began his career as an Investment Sales Intern in Transwestern’s Atlanta office. Before rejoining the firm in 2026, he gained financial and analytical experience as a litigation and consulting intern at B. Riley Financial and developed commercial real estate valuation expertise as an Associate Appraiser at Cushman & Wakefield.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
