TRANSWESTERN ROLE

John is a Managing Director with Transwestern’s Capital Markets & Asset Strategies group in the Midwest. He advises clients on investment sales and real estate strategies. John works with a wide range of asset types, including office, industrial, flex, single-tenant triple-net leased, medical office and surplus corporate real estate. His valuable insights, along with his extensive transactional and ownership experience, ensure that John identifies the best solutions for his clients.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

John has over 40 years of experience in commercial real estate, starting in Dallas during the savings and loan crisis and the formation of the RTC, through multiple real estate cycles, including the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout his career, John has completed over $1.25 billion in transactions. John has represented a wide range of clients, including institutional and entrepreneurial owners, and has worked on projects ranging from single assets to national portfolios.

John relocated to Chicago from Dallas in 1989. Prior to joining Transwestern, John served as a Senior Vice President on Colliers’ Office Capital Markets team, advising clients on investment sales and debt and equity sourcing. He was a Principal at Poldolsky Circle for 22 years before its merger with Colliers. John has extensive international real estate relationships through his leadership in CORFAC and participation at MIPIM and Expo Real.

EDUCATION

John attended Oral Roberts University and  Richland College. He is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois.
