Jim Elsener

Jim is responsible for asset management, lease and property performance, risk oversight and mitigation at the individual asset level, as well as acquisitions sourcing, analysis, and negotiation. Jim has over ten years of experience across all facets of real estate, including construction, development, finance, analysis, and leasing.

Prior to joining Transwestern, he spent over 3 years at Exeter Property Group (Now EQT Real Estate), a private real estate fund manager, developer and operator based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he acquired $320 million of office investments across 15 transactions along with managing a 1.4 million SF office and industrial portfolio. Before EQT Exeter, Jim spent 4 years at TRT Holdings managing $195 million of development and capital projects for Omni Hotels and Resorts and 3 years working for Harvey-Cleary Builders overseeing the construction of a 36-story multi-family development in Austin, Texas. 

Jim received his Bachelor’s in Construction Science from Texas A&M University and MBA from Southern Methodist University with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate.
