TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Fred is Senior Managing Director of Transwestern Investment Group (TIG). In this role he leads the sourcing and execution of opportunistic real estate investments and is responsible for growing TIGs private wealth investment platform.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Before joining Transwestern, Fred was a Principal and Head of Acquisitions for the Office and Life Science investment platform at EQT Exeter, a global real estate private equity firm with more than $25 billion in real estate assets under management. He led a team of investment professionals on the acquisition, development and redevelopment of land, office and life science properties. Previously, Fred served as Vice President of Investments at Cousins Properties, a publicly traded REIT (NYSE: CUZ), where he oversaw acquisitions, development, asset management, and dispositions of Cousins 8-million-square-foot, Class A office holdings in Texas. He also worked at Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing in New York, where he participated in real estate equity investments on behalf of the companys $5 billion global opportunity fund and $13 billion U.S. core real estate private equity fund, as well as in the private investment office of (Trammell) Crow Holdings and in the Structured Finance Group at Deloitte. Over the course of his career, Fred has been involved in more than $6.3 billion of real estate investment transactions across multiple property types and U.S. markets with risk profiles ranging from core to opportunistic. He is a CPA and a Texas Licensed Real Estate Salesperson.
 
Fred currently serves on the Board of Directors for Covenant House Texas and Post Oak Little League. He was previously a board member of Young Life New York.
