Biography
TRANSWESTERN ROLE
Cody works with the firm’s Transaction Sciences Group in Atlanta as a Managing Director, leading the analytical core that specializes in strategic financial modeling, demand forecasting, and transaction structuring. He provides services that allow clients to manage the different financial risks and uncertainties embedded in a real estate decision.
Core to this risk management and consulting approach is the use of stochastic modeling, utilizing Monte Carlo Simulations to project outcomes where deterministic estimates and scenarios fail to capture the true range of potential outcomes for a client. From portfolio strategy to defining requirements to transaction structuring, this style of modeling and analytical work continues to support clients at all stages of an engagement, allowing them to make confident, risk-adjusted decisions at each step in the process.
Beginning in 2019, Cody also expanded the analytical footprint of Transaction Sciences to support the Transwestern New York office. In this capacity, Cody works to drive value for corporate clients and supporting non-profit clients in their efforts to derive value from their real estate while ensuring that precious donor dollars are put to the highest and most far-reaching use.
Major transactions include: the real estate portfolio transformation of Randstad, including their 105k SF HQ in Atlanta, the sale leaseback of the 100k SF Brasfield and Gorrie HQ, the long-term lease restructures of multiple 100k SF Data Centers in the INAP portfolio, the lease restructure for Cooper Carry’s 50k SF Atlanta office, the 200k sf Center for Global Health Innovation lease, TVS’s 40k SF Atlanta office, EAE Electric’s 100k SF Distribution Hub, and the development of the 100k SF Overtime Elite facility in Atlanta.
