TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Carter Thurmond joined Transwestern in 2016. Carter’s primary responsibilities include marketing and leasing office/warehouse/flex product on behalf of the firm and its clients. Carter has quickly become one of Transwestern’s rising young stars and has successfully completed over one hundred (100) industrial lease transactions as a product specialist. Some of his strengths include: a competitive drive to succeed, strong work ethic, winning personality, ability to gain trust quickly and persistence. Carter’s passion and dedication for representing industrial product is second to none. His relentless promotion, resourcefulness and dedication to his assigned assets have generated exceptional results and investment returns on behalf of clients.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

Carter is currently a member of NAIOP, CoreNet Global as well as the Transwestern Young Professionals group. From San Antonio, Carter is an active member of two renowned charity and philanthropy organizations, The San Antonio German Club and The Order of the Alamo. Carter is also an active member of Texas Parks and Wildlife and Stewards of the Wild. He achieved his Eagle Scouts rank in 2009.

EDUCATION

Carter earned his bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, majoring in Geographic Information Systems and minoring in Business and Energy Management from the University of Texas at Austin. Carter is a licensed real estate salesperson in Texas.
