TRANSWESTERN ROLE
Brett is a vice president specializing in Agency Leasing and Tenant Advisory. He is responsible for the leasing and marketing functions for both office and medical clients, providing strategic planning, brokerage and development advisory services. Brett is key to marketing the properties in the 3.5 million-square-foot Transwestern Minneapolis Agency Leasing portfolio, which includes Grand Oak Business Park, Mendota Tech Workplace, 20 West End, The Offices @ MOA, The District @ West End, 12700 Whitewater Drive, and Spruce Tree Center.
A valuable member of the Minneapolis team, Brett is a versatile and dedicated broker who’s found success across the Twin Cities market. He is a notable voice in the room for both new business development and current clients, and his knowledge and expertise help him exceed ownership goals to produce outstanding results.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Brett has been a commercial real estate broker since 2019, making a notable impact representing building owners and tenants while also assisting in the sale of several properties. Brett joined the Transwestern Minneapolis team in 2021. Between his arrival at Transwestern in 2021 and the end of 2025, Brett had a hand in brokering over 1.7 million square feet in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. In 2025 alone, Brett was directly involved with 84 deals totaling 391,752 square feet. Prior to Transwestern, Brett worked at Cushman & Wakefield. He provided brokerage and advisory services for a portfolio consisting of over 1.5 million square feet of office and medical office space.
Brett’s career at Transwestern has seen remarkable growth. Joining the company as an Associate, Brett has been promoted twice, elevating to Vice President in 2025. He's also been an avid participant in the Transwestern and Minneapolis commercial real estate communities. Brett is a leading member of Transwestern Minneapolis' Young Professionals Committee, helping to provide networking and career development opportunities. He does not hesitate to assist his colleagues, and he regularly devotes personal time to helping younger brokers and seasonal interns. Additionally, Brett is an active member of organizations like MNCAR and NAIOP.
