Biography
TRANSWESTERN ROLE
As Chief Financial Officer, Steve oversees all financial matters of the Transwestern companies and its affiliates, including accounting and reporting, cash management and forecasting, and internal audit. Steve also oversees project accounting and the development of national standards and policies for financial projects undertaken in the regions.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Prior to joining Transwestern in 2000, Steve was senior controller of Hines, a large privately held real estate development and management company located in Dallas, Texas. He was responsible for overseeing the accounting for Hines’ operations in Dallas, including the Dallas Galleria complex.
In addition, Steve previously was assistant controller for Ayrshire/Eland Corporation, a privately held residential and commercial real estate company located in Houston, Texas. He also held various positions with KPMG Peat Marwick in Houston.

EDUCATION
Steve earned his B.B.A. with a double major in accounting and management from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and also obtained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
