TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Shiuwah Lam is a Senior Project Manager in the Transwestern Chicago office. She is responsible for the execution of healthcare, asset, and corporate tenant projects. On projects, Shiuwah ensures adherence to budget and schedule expectations while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. She also assists with budget development, scope clarification, contract buyout, scheduling and team coordination, as well as safety and critical path responsibilities.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Shiuwah has completed over 1 million square feet of projects in recent years. Notable projects include base building and commercial interiors at the Richard J. Daley Center, as well as fitness centers, office interiors, lobby renovations, and other capital projects at 190 South LaSalle, 444 South LaSalle, and other downtown Chicago office buildings. Other projects include over 200,000 square feet of tenant buildouts at One North Dearborn for Snapsheet, Narrative Science, Omeda, FTD, Euromonitor, and the building’s fitness center. She also oversaw the $2.4-million-dollar audio system upgrade and replacement for the Jay Pritzker Pavilion and the enhancement to the iconic Crown Fountain and Towers at Millennium Park.

EDUCATION

Shiuwah earned her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies, with a minor in East-Asian Languages and Cultures, from the University of Illinois.
