Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Sean serves as managing director and leads the Houston development effort, focusing on business generation, deal structuring, and has general oversight responsibilities for all projects. He also manages the group's financial analysis and underwriting activities.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Sean has participated in in excess of 5 million sq ft of development across office, industrial, medical and multi-family product types, totaling $1.5 billion of aggregate cost. During his tenure, the group has completed a broad spectrum of principal and fee developments, including corporate office parks, multi-phased bulk industrial projects, mid-rise multi-family and hospital campuses. Recent endeavors include the 600,000-sq ft, 30-story, BHP Billiton Tower; Westgate, a 660,000-sq ft office park; Westway Plaza, a 315,000-sq ft office building leased primarily to GE; and The Hayworth, a 240-unit, 8 story luxury residential project; and Texas Children's Hospital - The Woodlands campus, a 550,000-sq ft pediatric facility and MOB.
 
Before joining Transwestern he served as Vice President for Davey Companies, leading the firm's acquisition efforts. Prior to that he was an Associate Vice President within the acquisitions group of AmREIT, a Houston-based real estate investment trust, where he participated in roughly $350 million of transactions.

Sean holds a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Houston and a Masters of Business Administration from the Jones School of Management at Rice University.
