Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Robert joined Transwestern in 2006. Robert has overall responsibility for Transwestern’s Central Texas team, which includes 175-plus employees and a portfolio of approximately 16 million square feet of office, industrial, medical and retail properties. Robert provides oversight for the facilities management, agency leasing, tenant advisory, investment sales, multifamily, development, financial services and marketing groups for Central Texas. He leads the development and implementation of Central Texas’ strategic plan for owner and user oriented service lines. In this role, Robert is actively involved in creating and implementing value enhancement solutions for Transwestern’s clients in Central Texas.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Robert has over 28 years of commercial real estate experience. Prior to joining Transwestern, Robert served as general manager for Equity Office Properties Trust where he was responsible for property operations and management, financial performance, and customer service initiatives for a portfolio of fifteen class A office properties totaling 3 million square feet. In his last year with Equity, Robert was instrumental in identifying potential acquisition targets, completing six transactions totaling $304 million in aggregate value. Robert also served in senior property management positions for both the office and retail divisions of the Trammell Crow Company, where he was responsible for the oversight of many high rise office properties as well as over 20 shopping centers across Central Texas.

Before entering the real estate industry, Robert enjoyed a career working on the exploration and development of oil and gas fields in the Mid-Continent United States.

In 2008, Robert received the National Legendary Service Award, one of the highest awards presented by Transwestern, for his outstanding service and dedication to achieving the goals and continued success of Transwestern. Robert is an active member of the following organizations:

EDUCATION

Robert received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Austin College in Sherman, Texas, and did post-graduate work at the University of Texas at Austin. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Texas.
