Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

René manages a portfolio of 1.7 million square feet of commercial properties in the Greater Denver area. She is responsible for day-to-day operations, customer service, supervision of all tenant construction, capital expense projects, and bidding and contracting vendors. René also oversees Transwestern Denver’s property management teams in conjuction with Theresa Dampier.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

René joined Transwestern in 1997, and she has more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate building strong relationships throughout Denver. She has managed more than 3 million square feet for institutional owners including Cornerstone, Franklin Street Partners, LNR, Elion, Sun Life of Canada, Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association, Transwestern Investment Company, Broadreach Capital Partners, Equity Investment Partners, Henderson Global, Colorado State Land Board, KBS Realty Advisors, and Northwestern Mutual Life. She also worked with Opus Northwest on the development and management of the Centennial Promenade Shopping Center.
 
Prior to joining Transwestern, René worked at Mile High Property Services, managing over 2 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail space.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

Rene is a member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA. She has also received the following awards: Mountain Region Management Employee of the Year, Rocky Mountain Building Team of the Year Award, Client Relations Award, Philanthropy and Wellness Ambassador Award.

EDUCATION

René is a LEED® Accredited Professional and has received her Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation through BOMA.
