TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Phil Jones joined Transwestern in the Houston market, in 2011 as the General Manager of 5 suburban office buildings in the greater Houston area.  Phil has led teams in managing and leasing numerous office and industrial projects over the past 16 years.  Phil’s strengths and experience include asset management, construction management, financial analysis, leasing, accounting and tenant representation. 
 
Prior to joining Transwestern, Phil was a Senior Property Manager overseeing the management and construction management of a portfolio of 10 office buildings.  Before that position he was a tenant representative, consultant and asset manager for a wide range of owners and tenants.  For more than 16 years, Phil has been responsible for the effective management and leasing of over 50 commercial assets owned by investors including TIAA-CREF, AIG, Credit Suisse First Boston, G.E. Capital, Crown Castle, and many individual ownership entities.  
 
As a client consultant and asset manager Phil has achieved savings of millions of real dollars through energy saving programs, retrofits, litigation of tax appraisals, and escalation recoveries.  One particular audit for Halliburton identified savings in excess of $1.2 million dollars.  Creative deal structuring, detailed financial analysis, and expert construction management skills have been a trade mark in identifying and achieving savings through sound financial stewardship and extensive knowledge of physical assets.

Phil holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Texas A&M University. Phil is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and a licensed real estate broker in the State of Texas
