TRANSWESTERN ROLE
Neil is serving as a Development Manager for the Texas Medical Center at the TMC3 project.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
The TMC3 project, recently re-branded as Helix Park, is a 37-acre world class life science campus. The first building on the Helix Park campus is the TMC3 Collaborative Building where the founding institutions will collaborate with each other and industrial partners in shared labs, services facilities, amenities, and educational areas.
During his career, focusing on institutional construction, Neil has overseen the design and construction of $250 million in research buildings, $1 billion in healthcare buildings and $255 million in educational buildings along with various other renovations, infrastructure and life safety improvements.
Prior to joining Transwestern, he worked at Broaddus and Associates, and he spent 20 years with general contractor Vaughn Construction. Beginning his career in the Medical Center he eventually led the Galveston area office for Vaughn Construction. Prior to Vaughn Neil spent 10 years with Houston based offshore driller Global Marine.
EDUCATION
Neil received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Texas State University.
