TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Mike leads Transwestern's Capital Markets & Asset Strategies group in the Midwest region. He boasts over 35 years of experience in the real estate industry where he has been involved in several hundred transactions covering virtually every product type. A business and community leader, Mike is viewed as one of the top real estate professionals in the region. During his career, he has been recognized as a top producer by Transwestern as well as a variety of industry organizations and publications.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Mike co-founded Equity Commercial Services, the predecessor to Transwestern in the Twin Cities, in 1996 and has been a partner since its inception. He played an integral role in bringing Transwestern to the Twin Cities marketplace and building it into one of the region's premier commercial real estate firms. Mike currently sits on Transwestern's Board of Directors.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

In addition to his lengthy work experience, Mike has spent countless hours volunteering his time to the real estate industry and beyond. He is a past president of the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors and the Minnesota Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. He has served on the local Board of Directors for the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks as well as the Minneapolis Downtown Council. Outside of work, Mike co-founded the Golf Classic "fore" Diabetes Research, which has raised almost $10 million dollars for research at the Diabetes Institute at the University of Minnesota.
