Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Marcus joined Transwestern in 2021. In his role of Transaction Manager, Marcus focuses particularly on the Randstad USA national account, with more than 275 locations. His responsibilities include optimizing the culture, function and economics of each real estate project for clients.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Before joining Transwestern, Marcus worked as a Commercial Real Estate Lease Analyst with CoStar Real Estate Manager, which is a division of the CoStar Group. In his role, Marcus focused on: assisting corporate clients through automating the lease abstraction process; and providing critical data to commercial real estate firms, landlords, tenants and lenders.
 
Additionally, Marcus worked as a tenant representation specialist in Ackerman & Co.’s brokerage division. Within his role, he delivered customized real estate solutions to clients, by aligning their real estate needs with their overall business and financial goals. His specialized services included: strategic plan development, lease negotiation and restructuring, market analysis, lease administration and operating expense reviews.
 
Moreover, before entering the commercial real estate industry, Marcus worked in the law, banking and insurance sectors.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

Currently, Marcus serves on the Board of Directors for Quest Communities – an Atlanta based organization focused on developing affordable housing and providing needs-based community services to enhance the quality of life for underserved individuals and families.

EDUCATION

Marcus holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina Aiken and a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law.
