TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Julia serves as Vice President where she is responsible for managing 500 West Madison. In this role, Julia oversees and optimizes capital budgets totaling $10 million with efficiency and strategic judgment, and serves as a trusted partner to clients and tenants. She and her team also ensured 500 West Madison achieved LEED Gold recertification.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

With over 15 years of experience in property management, Julia's professional journey has seen her successfully manage a diverse portfolio of properties, ranging from sprawling multi-building campuses to prestigious downtown high-rises and historic Class A properties. Her adept handling of these various property types is a testament to her versatility and adaptability as a leader in the industry.
 
Prior to joining Transwestern, Julia spent over five years at the John Buck Company, where she started as a Property Manager before being elevated to General Manager at the iconic Rookery Building located at 209 S. LaSalle St. While there, building occupancy increased from 70% to 98% within a 14-month period. In 2020, under Julia’s guidance, the Rookery won the Outstanding Building of the Year Award (TOBY) locally and regionally from BOMA Chicago in the Historical Building category. Julia also has previous experience as a Real Estate Manager with AmTrust Realty Corp. and a Property Manager at Reit Management and Research.

Julia earned her bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Iowa. She is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois.
