TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Jan is the Property Manager for 203 N. LaSalle, a 27-story, 624,724-square-foot office building in Chicago’s Central Loop. In this position, she serves as an expert leader for the building’s management team, assisting with capital projects, tenant construction, accounting issues, service contract negotiations, and building/tenant issues. Jan also acts as a liaison between building owners and Transwestern Chicago and helps on-site property staff understand and achieve ownership objectives.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Jan has been with 203 N. LaSalle since 2015, starting as a property administrator and working her way up to the top-most role in the building. Jan is consistent and reliable in her role as the leader of the 203 N. LaSalle team. She always achieves exceptional results by focusing on the goals of her client, Sumitomo Corporation of Americas, and disseminating these goals across the team and through the annual business plan. 
 
She has executed several building improvements, including approximately 215,000 square feet of tenant interior construction and direct digital control system upgrades, a domestic water pump replacement project, elevator machine room air conditioning unit replacement, concrete repair and door replacement project in the freight elevator hoistway, an extensive two-year $1.32M façade repair project, and the installation of new atrium tie-offs to solve a historical (decades-long) issue with interior window washing access. Jan goes above and beyond the standard responsibilities.

Jan earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from Central State University. She is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois.
