J.D. DeRosa

J.D. is a Vice President for the Tenant Advisory group based in downtown Los Angeles. As a former PriceWaterhouseCoopers certified public accountant, he is detail-oriented and performs the most complex financial analysis required by his clients. J.D. is a successful, well-rounded commercial real estate professional whose primary focus is leasing and purchase/sale transactions for office and industrial properties. J.D. represents his clients within the greater Los Angeles area and on a nationwide basis. J.D. is an expert in direct leases, subleases, lease buy-outs, site selection, building cost analysis, financial modeling and analysis, demographic analysis, lease/purchase/sale strategies, work letters, tenant improvement contracts, architectural review and design, market reports, lease comparable analysis and lease abstracts.

J.D. joined Transwestern in 2006 from Trammell Crow Company. He began his commercial real estate career with Cushman & Wakefield, where he represented a diverse group of corporate and non-profit clients. J.D.’s clients over the course of his career include: American Express, Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, McGraw-Hill Companies, Baute & Tidus, LLP, Pacific Life Insurance, California Credits Group, Ralph M. Parsons Foundation, Cap Gemini, Starwood Hotels, Carrie Estelle Doheny Foundation, Sullivan Group, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Tengu Company, First Commercial Bank, United Way of Greater Los Angeles, James Irvine Foundation, Unum L.A., Community College District, and Walker & Zanger, Inc.
