TRANSWESTERN ROLE

As the President of Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS), Greg oversees all TRS operations, including advancing the implementation of innovative real estate solutions, leading expansion opportunities in strategic markets and driving business development that capitalizes on the company’s consultative service approach. Greg also aligns the capabilities of the Transwestern companies with the firm’s clients’ broader real estate and capital needs.
 
Preceding his role as President, Greg served as Managing Principal and Market Leader in Minneapolis and Executive Managing Director of the Midwest region.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Throughout his Transwestern tenure, Greg has been responsible for immense growth in the Midwest, overseeing the transformation of several prominent CBD office buildings, recruiting one of the region’s leading retail teams and attracting new talent to the Capital Markets group. He was also integral in the successful acquisition and integration of a prominent property management and leasing company in the Chicago market, more than doubling the size of that operation.
 
Prior to joining Transwestern, Greg spent 13 years with McGough Companies where, ultimately, he served as Executive Vice President and oversaw McGough’s Development Company, McGough’s Facility Management Company and the company’s risk management program. Prior to McGough, Greg began his real estate career as an attorney at Fredrikson & Byron P.A., where he focused on real estate, land use, development and public finance.

EDUCATION

Greg holds a bachelor’s degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota.
