TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Greg Frankum is Transwestern’s Executive Managing Director in Atlanta. He is the Agency Team leader for Atlanta, GA.
 
Greg has successfully filled a wide variety of office assets on behalf of Transwestern’s owner clients, including urban high-rise towers, suburban mid-rise buildings, low-rise business parks, and mixed-use developments. A leasing veteran with more than 30 years of experience, Greg has earned a name for himself as one of Atlanta’s most successful leasing agents. He has exceeded the qualifications for the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors’ Million Dollar Club every year since he began his real estate career in 1988.
 
During the course of his career, Greg has represented landlord clients such as Barings, The Ardent Companies, Invesco, Heitman, Apollo Property Partners, Argus Realty Group, Behringer Harvard, B.F. Saul Company, Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors, Griffin Capital, Hudson Advisors, JE Robert Companies, Koll Development, Mass Mutual, JP Morgan, Mutual of New York, American Express, Prudential, and Sumitomo.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Before joining Transwestern, Greg was a senior vice president with CB Richard Ellis, where over his three years before joining Transwestern he completed 300 leases with an aggregate value of $140 million. Previous to this, Greg was a director with Insignia/ESG prior to the firm’s merger with CB Richard Ellis. He has also held a senior-level leasing position with Tishman West.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

Greg is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Georgia with previous licenses in South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Florida. He is a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors (ACBR) and has been awarded a CoStar Power Broker “Top Office Leasing Brokers” award since 2005. He also has consistently placed among the top five producers in the annual National Association of Office and Industrial Park’s (NAIOP’s) ranking as well as among the top 10 landlord leasing representatives according to the ACBR Million Dollar Club Top 10 List. In addition, he has been named to Transwestern’s Champion Club which recognizes the top 50 producers in the nation since joining the company.

Greg completed his bachelor’s in finance from the University of Georgia.
