TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Gabe joined Transwestern in August of 2020, based out of San Francisco. He advises his clients in all aspects of their real estate needs, with an emphasis on helping clients save time and money, and especially adding value by helping clients navigate through periods of economic uncertainty. Gabe brings nearly 13 years of experience as a real estate attorney, having moved to the brokerage side of real estate in 2014. During his legal career, he advised numerous real estate investment trusts (REITs), life insurance companies and real estate funds that own commercial buildings, as well as some of the largest companies in the world. Gabe offers a holistic approach to brokerage, serving as a real estate advisor from start to finish of all transactions, while also assisting clients with real estate issues that arise even without any transaction to oversee.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern, Gabe was at Newmark Knight Frank where he led transactions all over the world, including transactions in India, Canada, Scotland and across the United States. Gabe has also served as a speaker on numerous panels addressing various real estate topics and issues, including panels for Founders Network (multiple occasions), TriNet and Relay Ventures. Many venture capitalists and their portfolio companies rely on his published articles when making real estate decisions, considering him one of the top real estate experts in the country for his experience and legal background. Gabe’s extensive client list on both the legal and brokerage side has included the Golden State Warriors, Zenefits, Google, Twitter and ScoutRFP, as well as institutional owners such as Paramount Group, Brandywine, UBS Realty and ING Clarion Partners.

EDUCATION

Gabe received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California Davis School of Law in 2001 and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with distinction in 1998. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of California (DRE #01916760).
