Prior to becoming the GM at 69 W. Washington, David held many significant roles in the commercial and governmental real estate worlds. David directed an extensive Illinois Tollway Oases portfolio located across a wide geography, including Belvidere, DeKalb, Hinsdale, Lake Forest, Lincoln, Des Plaines and O'Hare. Before that, he directed the Chicago Park District Concession Management Program in its early years, which included over 165 concession locations on the lakefront as well as parks throughout the city. David also previously served as VP General Manager for U.S. Equities' asset management assignments with the Board of Education/Chicago Public Schools. In this capacity, he directed the facility management of three of the Board's six regions, which consisted of over 235 properties totaling 25 million square feet, and the Board of Education headquarters at 125 S. Clark.
Other earlier assignments included Property Operations Manager for 225 N. Michigan Avenue, a 25-story, 896,000-square-foot office building with a retail pedestrian concourse. During this time, he was promoted to Project Manager for Prudential Plaza, a two-building complex totaling more than two million square feet. At Prudential Plaza, David was responsible for overall property operations, including financial performance, rent collections, litigation, security, tenant relations, and lease renewal negotiations.
