TRANSWESTERN ROLE

With more than 18 years of engineering and mechanical experience, Danny Imbrogno brings a broad range of expertise to Transwestern. As the Senior Chief Engineer for the Southeast Region, he oversees an 11 million-square-foot portfolio of commercial and industrial properties located throughout South Florida. In this role, Danny supervises all building maintenance, coordinates tenant build-outs, directs all maintenance-engineering staff, and is referred to as an expert on numerous engineering issues. One of his most significant management assignments includes Douglas Entrance, a five-building, 465,000-square-foot office property located in Coral Gables, Florida. 
 
Additionally, Danny is responsible for the implementation of operating procedures and substantial projects such as mechanical retrofits.  He conducts physical site inspections, annual audits, compiles due diligence reporting on technical and operational issues, and provides capital improvement recommendations on new property acquisitions and takeovers. Danny also works directly with property management to implement and maintain the energy systems and sustainability initiatives requested by his owner clients. As such, Danny was instrumental in obtaining and managing ENERGY STAR for several of Transwestern's managed office properties located throughout the Southeast. He also obtained Gold LEED certification for the 110 Tower in Fort Lauderdale and Silver LEED for Douglas Entrance in Coral Gables.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern, Danny was with Colonnade Properties for 15 years, where he served as chief engineer for a six building portfolio in Miami and Coral Gables. In addition to planning and implementing all daily operational procedures, he was responsible for the project management of all tenant improvements, as well as capital projects, including exterior structural repairs, water intrusion mitigation and reroofing projects.

Danny has completed numerous property management, technical and real estate courses over the past two decades.
