Carter Thurmond

Having joined Transwestern in 2016, Carter specializes in all areas of industrial real estate, including project leasing, tenant and buyer representation, property disposition, build-to-suit projects and investment sales. After spending several years on the Houston Industrial Team, Carter relocated to Austin to lead the firm’s Central Texas Industrial Team, covering the entire Interstate 35 corridor from Austin to San Antonio. His deep understanding of the Central Texas industrial market has allowed him to build successful relationships with the brokerage community. He is passionate about service business and dedicated to generating the best results for the firm’s clients.

Throughout his career at Transwestern, Carter has completed over 450 industrial transactions on behalf of the firm’s clients. Having dealt with institutional landlords, small local businesses and Fortune 500 companies, Carter has a broad range of experiences with industrial real estate.

Carter earned his bachelor’s degree in geographic information systems with minors in business and energy management from the University of Texas at Austin. Carter is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Texas.
