TRANSWESTERN ROLE
Carlos Gaviria is a Vice President with Transwestern’s South Florida office. He and his partners Ben Eisenberg, Walter Byrd, and Thomas Kresse together comprise one of the leading industrial real estate advisory teams in South Florida. The team has represented some of the largest corporate occupiers in the market, has leased properties on behalf of many major institutional owners, and has assisted in the acquisition and disposition of a wide range of real estate assets. During his 7+ year tenure at Transwestern, Carlos and his team have worked with high profile clients such as:

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Prior to joining Transwestern, Carlos was an associate with Metro 1 Properties, where he headed the firm’s industrial services group. In this position, Carlos provided both landlord and tenant representation services for his clients and also assisted the firm in generating new business opportunities. Over the course of two years, he was involved in approximately 400,000 square feet of lease and sales transactions.
PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION
Carlos is an active member of the Beacon Council, where he serves on both the Trade & Logistics Committee and the New Leaders Taskforce. In addition, he belongs to the Florida Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association (FCBF), the Commercial Industrial Association of South Florida (CIASF), the Make-A-Wish Champions, and the Friends of New World Symphony. Carlos received the 2012 ’Rookie of the Year Award’ for his contribution to Transwestern’s culture and success in the Miami Office.
EDUCATION
Carlos graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship and small business management.
