TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Alex joined Transwestern in 2017. He leads and concentrates his efforts in the I-80, Suburban Chicago & Indiana submarkets. He is an investment sales specialist, with a deep knowledge of income-producing properties, and he has an inherent intuition for value. He is a meticulously detailed & contract savvy representative. He has extensive multi-tenant investment sale, land development, and leasing knowledge.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Alex has  nearly 30 years of commercial real estate experience.
 
He started his real estate career in 1995 with Horn Company Development of Las Vegas as a Construction Controller developing  multiple mixed-use commercial and luxury residential developments. In 1999 he relocated to the Midwest and served as CFO for CBRE Sturges and Sturges Development Corporation in Northern Indiana, overseeing the financial operations of the company’s property management, corporate, land development, and new construction profit centers. In 2004 he entered the commercial brokerage arena for CBRE and has since contributed to over  $750M in sales, leasing, and development projects. Relocating to the Chicagoland area in 2014, Alex successfully freelanced as a strategic advisor, interim CFO, and managerial consultant for many commercial real estate developments and companies.

EDUCATION

Alex graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in Theater and a BS in Accounting. He will finalize a Masters Degree in Legal Studies from the University of Illinois Springfield in Spring 2024.
