TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Wally Tufvander is a Vice President in Transwestern’s Project Services group, focusing on the Twin Cities area. He utilizes client-first values to manage architecture, construction, AV and IT, and furniture. He also specializes in relocation coordination for interior renovations across sectors, including office, industrial and manufacturing, and Healthcare. Helping clients navigate the complex process involved with project management, Wally has completed hundreds of projects for clients renovating or relocating their offices. Wally also works with Transwestern brokers early in lease review to provide budget and project-related information.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Wally has over 20 years in real estate project management. He was previously Vice President of Project Management at Forte Real Estate Partners, which was acquired by Transwestern in June of 2026.

Durning college, Wally worked in the asbestos removal industry removing asbestos from the Aspen, CO Middel School.  He joined his family business for 10 years in a Project Management / Business Development role but found that commercial real estate project management is where he thrives.  He left the family business and joined Cushman & Wakefield as a landlord construction representative managing projects on behalf of building owners to protect their assets.  At Turner & Townsend he flew around the country managing RBC Wealth Management projects.  Wally’s largest project was a state-of-the-art $40 million High School and Athletic facility for the Prior Lake / Salvage School district just outside of the Twin Cities.

EDUCATION

Wally received his bachelor’s degree in construction management from North Dakota State University.
