Teresa Johnson

Teresa joined Transwestern in 2000 and currently handles day to day accounting functions for commercial real estate properties including accounts payable and receivable, asset depreciation, monthly accruals, straight line rent, FAS141 entries, reconciliation of bank statements, audit preparation, vendor verification and other duties associated with the accounting process. She is familiar with all of the industry-standard accounting platforms and software utilized for commercial real estate, including MRI, Yardi, Job Costing and Development Accounting.

Teresa is a 17 year employee with Transwestern and has experience in all aspects of real estate accounting, financial statement preparation, and development accounting from pre-construction to the operational stages.

Teresa received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas in Arlington.
