Steve Kros serves as the executive vice president of Transwestern's southeast development services team.


Steve has over 19 years of high-level experience sourcing, underwriting, negotiating, communicating and executing real estate development and acquisition deals. Prior to joining Transwestern, he held positions as a vice president of investments and vice president of development with AMB Property Corporation. Steve spearheaded real estate development and acquisition investments in multiple east coast markets. He also was responsible for overall project management for an 11 million square foot development pipeline on 800 acres in six cities in throughout the southeast and mid-atlantic, representing a total investment of over $560 million
Steve has also served as principal of CRE Capital Advisors that focused on providing specialized services to institutional investment clients.  While in this role, he performed development management services for the built-to-suit group of a multi-national data center REIT; was engaged by a Chinese multi-family real estate firm to assist with their expansion into the Boston market; and advised a multi-national life insurance company on the value of its commercial real estate loan portfolio.

Steve received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University and his MBA from the Harvard Business School.
