TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Steve serves as Regional Partner and heads East Coast development efforts. He is responsible for expanding the firm’s operations throughout the East Coast, which includes identifying business opportunities and assembling professional teams to develop the new projects.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Steve has over 20 years of high-level experience sourcing, underwriting, negotiating, and executing real estate development deals. Since joining the Company in 2014, Steve has sourced and executed real estate transactions totaling over 6.5 million SF of Class A distribution space. Highlights during this period include Charleston Logistics Center, a 686,300 square foot project in Charleston, SC; Springfield Commercial, a 190,000 square foot project in suburban Washington, DC; Meetinghouse Road, a 207,500 square foot project in Philadelphia; Penn Commerce, a phased 3 building 2 million sq ft  speculative bulk industrial project located in Central Pennsylvania; and Bridgewater, a 1 million sq ft bulk industrial project located in Lakeland, Florida.
 
Previously, Steve held positions as a vice president of investments and vice president of development with AMB Property Corporation. He spearheaded real estate development and acquisition investments in multiple east coast markets. He also was responsible for overall project management for an 11 million square foot development pipeline on 800 acres in six cities in throughout the southeast and mid-Atlantic, representing a total investment of over $500 million.

Steve received his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University and his MBA from the Harvard Business School.
