Pete Soens

As Executive Vice President and Philadelphia City Leader, Pete Soens is responsible for leading Transwestern’s Philadelphia office and driving the firm’s growth across the Greater Philadelphia region. In this role, Pete oversees strategic business development, client relationships, market expansion, and service delivery across Transwestern’s integrated platform. He works closely with regional and national leadership to strengthen the firm’s presence in one of the nation’s most important commercial real estate markets while delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.

Pete co-founded SSH Real Estate in 2002 and helped grow the company from a six-person brokerage into one of the Philadelphia region’s largest privately held commercial real estate firms. Under his leadership, the firm expanded into a fully integrated platform offering brokerage, investment, property management, and maintenance services, ultimately growing to more than 75 professionals.

Throughout his career, Pete has completed billions of dollars in real estate transactions spanning brokerage and principal investing across multiple property types and capital structures. He has been actively involved in all phases of the business, including leasing, investment sales, acquisitions, development opportunities, property operations, and long-term strategic planning. Working alongside his partners, Gregory Muller and Michael Montemuro, Pete helped establish and execute the vision that drove SSH Real Estate’s sustained growth and success.

Known for his entrepreneurial mindset and client-focused approach, Pete has built long-standing relationships throughout the Philadelphia business community and continues to play a key role in shaping the future of commercial real estate across the region.
