Paul Donovan

Paul is an Executive Vice President with Transwestern’s Tenant Advisory group, serving the greater Twin Cities area. His comprehensive real estate expertise encompasses site selection, transaction and facility management, property acquisitions and dispositions, financing, and project management. He specializes in delivering creative, strategic real estate solutions for corporations, nonprofits, religious institutions and educational organizations.

Paul brings over 30 years of commercial real estate experience to his role. He served as Chief Operating Officer at Forte Real Estate Partners before the firm joined Transwestern in June 2026. Previously, Paul consistently achieved Top Producer status at United Properties (later Cushman & Wakefield), representing a diverse portfolio of corporate and nonprofit clients. From 1996 to 2002, Paul served as Vice President at Marsden Companies, directing sales and marketing to successfully double the business's size, culminating in its sale to the Rauenhorst Family fund (Encore). Paul also co-founded a commercial building maintenance company, growing it to over 100 employees before selling it to Marsden Companies in 1996. Paul began his professional career in corporate accounting at Cargill Inc.

Notable deals in recent years include Ameriprise Headquarters (850,000 square feet), RBC Wealth Management Headquarters (350,000 square feet), Fairview Health Systems Pharmacy Tech Center (150,000 square feet), Winthrop & Weinstine (125,000 square feet), Taft / Briggs and Morgan (115,000 square feet) and Lindquist & Vennum / Ballard Spahr PLLP (120,000 square feet).

Paul received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Marquette University.
