Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Nick serves both local and multinational clients with a broad range of commercial real estate services, encompassing strategic planning transaction management, investing project coordination, negotiation, market expertise and site acquisition for development.  He specializes in office and industrial tenant representation as well as capital markets transactions in both a buy and sell-side capacity for corporations and investors of public and private equity.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Nick's 20-year commercial real estate career has taken him across two continents and through millions of square feet of office and industrial transactions with his clients.  Beginning his career as the Director of Real Estate Operations and Acquisitions for Ssangyong USA, Nick managed a multimillion square foot real estate portfolio of both owned and leased assets.  His brokerage career first took him to CB Richard Ellis where he structured leasing and disposition deals in excess of 2,000,000 square feet and $500 million in value.  Later at Cushman and Wakefield and Jones Lang LaSalle, Nick specialized in working with Fortune 500 Asian companies with significant holdings in North America.  While at these two firms, he conducted an additional $1.2 billion in deals and was the head of JLL's Asian Practice Group in the Tri-State area.

He is also a former member of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA). Nick is an accomplished marathon runner who has finished both the New York City and Philadelphia races. 

EDUCATION

Nick holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Rutgers University and a master's degree in real estate investment and finance from New York University's Schack Institute of Real Estate. Over his career, Nick has also pursued continuing education in appraisal, property management, and real estate finance.
