January 23, 2023
PHOENIX – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces that Paul Borgesen III and Dylan Sproul have joined its Phoenix office as Senior Vice President and Vice President, respectively, on the Capital Markets and National Net Lease | Sale Leaseback team. The experienced duo has completed 12,000,000 square feet in building sales, ground-up development, and project consulting across the Greater Phoenix market.
“Paul and Dylan are a welcome addition to our office and I’m very excited to have them join the team,” said Mark Stratz, Transwestern Senior Vice President and Phoenix Market Leader. “They have cultivated strong relationships in the market and have completed a range of net lease and capital markets transactions for clients Valley-wide. Both Paul and Dylan display the entrepreneurial spirit that Transwestern looks for as we thoughtfully and intentionally grow our firm.”
Borgesen and Sproul join Transwestern from Sperry Van Ness Desert Commercial Advisors, where they grew a well-regarded practice that focused on land development and sales, for industrial, multifamily and office use. Their long list of clients includes Wentworth Property Company, Wharton Equity Partners, Contour Real Estate, Shopoff Realty Investments, Trinsic Residential Group and Fore Properties.
“We are excited to join a dynamic firm like Transwestern,” said Borgesen. “We were attracted to the firm’s comprehensive, ‘cradle to grave’ range of real estate services, from site selection, source acquisition and financing assistance through to agency leasing, tenant advisory and asset services. We appreciate Transwestern’s excellent reputation in the industry, particularly among developers and institutional investors.”
Prior to joining Transwestern, Borgesen was a Senior Advisor at SVN Desert Commercial Advisors. During his eight-year tenure at SVN, he became a market expert focused on the acquisition and disposition of properties, with particular expertise in greenfield and infill development sites, as well as industrial and office sites. He received numerous SVN awards, including the President’s Club and Partners’ Circle. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Criminal Justice from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He holds an Arizona Real Estate Salesperson license and is a member of the NAIOP Young Professionals Group and the Urban Land Institute.
Sproul joined SVN Desert Commercial Advisors as an intern and worked his way up to Senior Advisor. He specialized in the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of commercial real estate in Arizona for investors, owner occupiers, and tenants and was a member of SVN’s national Corporate Real Estate Services team. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Real Estate from Arizona State University. He is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and the Urban Land Institute.
