Proven Leader to Build Upon Firms Full-Service Platform Capabilities
February 06, 2023
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces Ken Loeber has been named Regional Market Leader for the Carolinas. Drawing on nearly three decades of experience, Loeber will expand the Transwestern platform into and throughout the region, one that has become increasingly important to commercial real estate owners, users and investors. Based in Charlotte, his focus will include attracting high-quality talent, pursuing new business, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and serving as an on-the-ground expert for the firm’s integrated family of companies.
“We are thrilled to appoint Ken to this role as we are confident he has the leadership skills and market expertise to strengthen our presence and drive growth in a region that is important to our clients,” said Bruce Ford, Transwestern’s East Region President. “As a firm that believes strongly in the value of on-the-ground insight and long-term relationships, Ken’s deep knowledge and expertise in the market will be immensely valuable in delivering excellent client outcomes.”
Loeber joins Transwestern from Eagle Rock Partners, a Charlotte-based real estate firm he founded in 2013. At Eagle Rock, he focused on organizational design, new market penetration and client pursuits, and company growth strategies. Key clients included Amazon, CompuCom and JELD-WEN.
Previously, Loeber served as Global Chief Strategy Officer for Unispace, President of Brinjac Engineering, President of Project and Development Services, Americas for Cushman & Wakefield, and President of Services for Foundry Commercial. He began his career at CBRE and its predecessor, Trammell Crow Company, where he spent nearly 25 years leading the project and development services business, as well as the outsourcing businesses, globally serving clients including Microsoft, Google, AT&T, Kaiser, Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase.
“It is a rare opportunity to join a growth-minded company where business is personal and clients come first, and that also offers a collaborative culture, depth of resources and resiliency proven through multiple economic cycles,” said Loeber. “I am honored and excited to build something special in an area I love, the Carolinas, and to create a place that clients and talent are drawn to.”
Loeber will be supported by long-time Transwestern leader and Asset Services expert Micah Larmie, and partnered with Jeff Harris, Transwestern Development Company’s (TDC) Southeast Regional Partner.
A member of CoreNet and deeply involved in the Charlotte community, Loeber earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a minor in economics from Johns Hopkins University.
