MIAMI – Transwestern Commercial Services (TCS) today announces its South Florida industrial team represented SPR Global Storage & Logistics (SPR) in a new, long-term lease for an 80,000-square-foot cold storage facility at the Beacon at 97th Avenue industrial park in Doral, Florida. The address is 2000 NW 97th Ave. Transwestern’s Managing Director Thomas Kresse, Vice President Carlos Gaviria, and Executive Managing Directors Walter Byrd and Ben Eisenberg facilitated the transaction on behalf of the tenant.
“SPR chose this location in Doral due to the existing improvements and infrastructure of the space, as well as the park’s convenient proximity to Miami International Airport,” said Kresse. “SPR is in the cold storage and logistics business.”
According to market research by TCS, Miami’s Airport submarket continues to be one of the strongest in terms of demand for industrial space with absorption at 538,842 square feet as of third quarter 2019.
JLL’s Brian Smith, Audley Bosch, and Matt Maciag represented the Beacon at 97th Avenue landlord, Prologis, during the transaction.
