HOUSTON – Transwestern announces it raised more than $160,000 for Make-A-Wish® in 2025, marking the firm’s most recent contribution through its national philanthropic partnership with the organization.
“It has been inspiring and rewarding to see our team members collaborate across markets to make a meaningful contribution to this well-deserving organization,” said Bruce Ford, COO of Transwestern Services. “The mission of Make-A-Wish has resonated with Transwestern for years and we are honored to help create life-changing moments for children and families in the communities where we live and work.”
Through this longtime partnership, Transwestern has supported Make-A-Wish through national campaigns and locally driven fundraising initiatives. Funds raised at the local level are directed to each market’s Make-A-Wish chapter, ensuring contributions directly benefit local communities.
Since 2022, Transwestern has raised more than $600,000 for Make-A-Wish, helping grant more than 65 wishes nationwide. Fundraising efforts organized to coincide with the Kentucky Derby, onsite events at Transwestern-managed properties, and locally organized activities such as chili cook-offs, silent auctions and golf tournaments. The firm also celebrates “Blue Friday,” a signature program inspired by Transwestern’s blue logo that allows team members to enjoy a Friday afternoon off in exchange for a charitable donation.
