Agency Leasing Team Negotiates 9 New Lease & Renewal Transactions in 2023

ATLANTA – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces the completion of nine office leases, totaling 153,526 square feet, at Peachtree Center, a 2.48 million-square-foot office and retail district in downtown Atlanta. Transwestern’s Chip Roach, Stephen Clifton and Zach Wooten, who provide Agency Leasing services on behalf of the owner, negotiated the following transactions in 2023:
- Fulton County Board of Assessors, a tenant since 2015, renewed 37,853 square feet at Tower 235.
- The Social Security Administration, a tenant for 21 years, extended its 31,775-square-foot lease at Marquis One Tower.
- Peachtree Offices, a family-owned coworking company, renewed 19,879 square feet at Tower 235.
- UNCF, the United Negro College Fund, expanded and renewed its lease from 7,894 square feet to 18,976 square feet and relocated from Tower 229 to Marquis One Tower.
- John Marshall Law School, a private for-profit law school founded in 1933, expanded its lease by 18,973 square feet, from 57,121 to 76,094 square feet, at Marquis One Tower.
- The Federal Trade Commission, a tenant since 2010, extended its 11,875-square-foot lease at Tower 233.
- Davis, Pickren, Seydel & Sneed LLP, a tenant at Peachtree Center since 1976, renewed 10,484 square feet at Marquis Two Tower.
- Atlanta personal injury firm Bert Brock Law signed a new lease for 2,556 square feet at Tower 229.
- Software development company EnLance IT signed a new lease for 1,155 square feet at Tower 235.
“Our ability to renew and expand leases with these organizations, several of which are long-term tenants, speaks to Peachtree Center’s status as the office location of choice in downtown Atlanta,” said Roach.
Spanning six buildings, Peachtree Center’s focal point is The Hub, a vibrant social destination with more than 50 restaurants and retail shops connected to 2.3 million square feet of office space and three world-class hotels offering more than 4,000 rooms.
