PHILADELPHIA – Transwestern announces it represented D & R Construction, Inc. in its acquisition of 220 Commerce Drive, a four-story, 46,657-square-foot office property in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. Transwestern’s Brian Bernetich and Joe Viturello represented the buyer, while JLL represented the seller, Brookwood Financial Partners LLC. The property sold for an undisclosed price.
While the property was under contract, D & R retained Transwestern to lead leasing efforts at 220 Commerce Drive. Prior to closing, Bernetich and Viturello secured 13,500 square feet of new leases, increasing occupancy from 54% to 86%.

The property offers full and partial buildout opportunities, flexible floorplates, and parking for over 200 vehicles. Notable tenants include Nyman Associates, Liberty Mutual, and Whiting Turner Contracting.
