Chicago – Ridge, the industrial development arm of Transwestern Development Co., today announces the completion of a186,000-square-foot, speculative industrial building in Brewster Creek Business Park in northwest Chicago. Darcie Fankhauser, Senior Vice President at Ridge, led the development team. Ridge closed on the sale of the building on Feb. 28, 2018.

“We are pleased to complete Ridge Brewster Creek II and deliver a high-quality building that will meet the steady demand for modern industrial space in DuPage County,” said Fankhauser. “With strong market fundamentals and leasing velocity, the project is well situated for the competitive environment.”

Located at 1365 Brewster Creek Blvd. in Bartlett, Illinois, Ridge Brewster Creek II features a 32-foot clear height, 35 loading docks, two drive-in doors and 212 car parking spaces. Brewster Creek Business Park, a 670-acre, mixed-use business park, is located at the intersection of County Road 29 and Munger Road just east of State Route 59, providing accessibility to Interstates 290 and 355, as well as the planned I-390 expressway and the O’Hare International Airport.

The general contractor was Triumph Construction Services Corp.; the architect was Harris Architects Inc.; and Eriksson Engineering Associate Ltd. was the civil engineer.
