Transwestern Provides Leasing Services for 370,000 SF Medical Office Campus

Atlanta – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces Doctors Center at Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital has won BOMA Georgia’s 2021 TOBY® award for outstanding medical office building. The Class A campus, which is attached to Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital, won a TOBY last year in the Renovated Building category. Transwestern Senior Managing Director Steve Hall, Managing Director John V. Lopez, and Senior Associate Bo Stuart provide leasing services for the property on behalf of Chicago-based Lillibridge Healthcare Services.

Doctors Center is located at 5665 Peachtree Dunwoody Road in Atlanta’s Central Perimeter submarket. Anchored by Emory Healthcare, Resurgens Orthopaedics Atlanta, and Atlanta Gastroenterology, tenants at the property also include Emory’s Winship Cancer Institute and Perimeter Specialty Pharmacy, among other specialty healthcare providers in cancer/oncology, cardiac care, and urology. The three-building, 370,000-square-foot campus is adjacent to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and connects to Northside Hospital Atlanta by a footbridge.
A $12-million renovation was completed at Doctors Center in 2019, which included replacing the atrium with a gallery area; adding a new fitness center and grab-and-go Chick-fil-A kiosk; updating entrances, signage, and wayfinding; and modernizing the elevators. Planned future amenities include a new café.
