MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Transwestern today announces it has been retained by ICM Realty Group to lease Barrel House, an 85,000-square-foot, boutique waterfront office building at 111 Third Ave. S. in downtown Minneapolis. Transwestern’s Jim Montez and Nick Sveen are providing leasing services.

After completing a multimillion-dollar renovation in 2017, ICM Realty Group restored the former barrel factory to its original heritage and installed modern amenities to attract today’s creative tenants. Centered around connectivity, the new design features a large atrium centerpiece, famed rooftop deck, building-wide Wi-Fi, multiple meeting spaces and enclosed parking.

Centrally located in the Mill District neighborhood, Barrel House is situated alongside the Mississippi River and surrounded by the city’s best walking trails, restaurants, entertainment, hotels and more. There will be significant investment in the immediate area, including the upcoming Water Works park, which is conveniently located at Barrel House’s back door. Barrel House is 86 percent leased with nearly 12,000 square feet available, including top-floor space overlooking the Mississippi River and the landmark Stone Arch Bridge.
