Transwestern Represents Seller & Provides Buyer Financing

WASHINGTON – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces its Mid-Atlantic Capital Markets Group has arranged the sale of the 6-building, 250,588-square-foot Westech Portfolio in Silver Spring, Maryland’s White Oak submarket. Transwestern represented DSC Partners, LLC in the sale to ESJ Capital Partners for an undisclosed price.
“Westech’s size and location within White Oak’s growing medical, R&D, and life sciences corridor made it attractive to investors seeking conversion opportunities and upside potential,” said Gerry Trainor, Transwestern’s Executive Managing Director.
The Westech Portfolio is in the heart of the White Oak micro-market in the North Silver Spring submarket, a targeted high-growth area of Montgomery County and an Opportunity Zone. Adjacent to the new $400 million Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center and proximate to the Food and Drug Administration’s White Oak campus, the properties enjoy convenient access to the entire DC-Baltimore metro area via Columbia Pike/Route 29 to the northwest, I-95 to the east and the Beltway/I-495 to the south.
Transwestern Managing Directors Andrew Asbill and Trevor Campbell secured financing for the purchase on behalf of ESJ Capital Partners.
