Original ChopShop and Circa Lighting sign leases at mixed-use development

Houston – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) has negotiated two retail leases in the Centre at River Oaks located at 3021 Kirby Drive, bringing the mixed-use development’s retail space to 87% occupancy. Original ChopShop is opening its first Houston location, occupying 2,921 square feet, and Circa Lighting is relocating to occupy 6,027 square feet. Retail Managing Director Crystal Allen provided agency leasing services on behalf of the building owner, The Ainbinder Company.
“We began negotiations with both of these high-quality tenants in the middle of the pandemic, so it is exciting to get both deals over the finish line,” said Allen. “Both ChopShop and Circa Lighting demonstrated adaptability and forward thinking throughout these uncertain times. They will be a strong addition to the Centre and we wish them continued success.”
Located in Houston’s prestigious River Oaks neighborhood, Centre at River Oaks comprises 100,000 square feet of Class A office and retail space at the intersection of Kirby and West Alabama. More than half a million people live within a 5-mile radius.
