MINNEAPOLIS – Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces that Bibliotheca signed a long-term lease in a new logistics development located at 11190 Hudson Boulevard in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. Transwestern Vice President Kevin Salmen and Associate Danny Callahan represented Bibliotheca in lease negotiations.
“I-94 Logistics Center offered several solutions for Bibliotheca,” said Salmen. “Consolidating operations into one building allows Bibliotheca to optimize its efficiency and workflow, and when combined with its ideal location, make it a perfect fit for the company.”
Bibliotheca, a library technology service company, is the first tenant to move into the 150,000-square-foot property. The 32,000-square-foot, long-term lease will enable the company to consolidate its shipping and operations into one location. The new facility includes 10,000 square feet of office space and 22,000 square feet of industrial space. Proximity to the interstate and Bibliotheca’s previous locations were also important factors in choosing the new space.
“We’re thrilled to officially open our new office,” said Bibliotecha’s President, Matthew Bellamy. “This milestone reflects our commitment to both our employees and the local community. Having our warehouse and operations in the same location allows us to work more efficiently while fostering a stronger, more connected workplace for our team.”
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on February 6 and was attended by Bibliotheca staff and guests, featuring welcoming remarks from Bibliotheca executives. Bibliotheca works with 30,000 libraries worldwide, offering integrated technology to facilitate library function.
Landlord Launch Properties was represented by Colliers.
About Bibliotheca
For over 50 years, Bibliotheca has partnered with libraries to meet the needs of their communities worldwide. Things are changing at lightning speed. It’s time to imagine what a library can do—what a library can be—today and tomorrow. Libraries are competing with the best in consumer technologies and can’t afford to stick with the status quo. At Bibliotheca, we aren’t just keeping up with the times, we’re inventing the future. Through integrated technology we reimagine how libraries function, to inspire and delight all kinds of people, wherever they are.
Bibliotheca works with 30,000 libraries around the globe to make the library experience seamless, intuitive, and inclusive. We work wonders for library staff too. As degreed librarians and avid library users, we understand not only the unique management challenges that libraries face, but also what the future of library service will demand. We pair global insight with strong local support, so no matter where you are, we’ve got a team nearby to help you make sure your library is ready.
