Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Michael Ogden is responsible for directing property management, engineering, and construction management services for projects in north central Texas, Arizona, and Georgia totaling approximately 26 million square feet. As director of asset services for the central region, Mike is responsible for 118 employees serving approximately 100 assets. He also sits on Transwestern’s national asset services operations committee and served 2 terms on Transwestern’s board of directors. As a senior leader of the asset services operating committee, he is responsible for the uniform delivery of property and facility management services across Transwestern’s regional and national platform. 

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Michael joined Transwestern in 2001 and has over 34 years of commercial construction and real estate experience. Prior to coming to the firm, he served as vice president, group manager for an international real estate firm with responsibility for clients such as Fidelity Investments, Electronic Data Systems, and The Capital Group/American Funds. While at Transwestern he was instrumental in the award of the largest property management assignment in Dallas recent history, which included a 16-building, 3 million square foot portfolio start-up. Among his other responsibilities, he oversees a 6 million square foot portfolio of three high profile multi-use projects in Dallas, Texas, Tempe, Arizona, and Atlanta, Georgia. These multi-use projects include occupancy of more than 17,000 employees, as well as, a 54-room hotel, more than 2,000 apartment units, 100,000 square feet of street level retail, a 40,000-square foot medical office building, and a 4-acre city park. Additionally, Mr. Ogden is a designated Receiver for Texas working with companies such as John Hancock, LNR, and Bank of America.

EDUCATION

Mike received his Bachelors of Science degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University, and a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. He is a registered Certified Property Manager and holds a commercial real estate broker license in Texas.
