TRANSWESTERN ROLE
As Vice President of Asset Services, Mike Montemuro is responsible for overseeing Transwestern’s Asset Services platform throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. In this role, Mike leads property management operations, engineering and maintenance services, financial reporting, construction management, and client relationships across a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate assets. He works closely with owners, investors, and operational teams to deliver exceptional service, maximize asset performance, and support the continued growth of Transwestern’s Philadelphia business.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Mike joined SSH Real Estate in 2012 and quickly expanded his responsibilities beyond investment sales and leasing to include acquisitions, asset management, investor relations, and property operations. Over time, he assumed leadership of the firm’s Property Management Division, overseeing a portfolio of more than 6 million square feet across office, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use properties for both SSH-owned assets and third-party investors.
Drawing on experience in underwriting, financial management, development, leasing, and asset management, Mike brings a comprehensive ownership perspective to property operations. He has led all aspects of day-to-day operations, including Property Management, Financial Services, Engineering & Operations, and Construction Management, while helping shape the long-term strategy and growth of both the property management platform and the broader business.
Known for his operational expertise, financial acumen, and client-focused approach, Mike has played a key role in scaling management operations, enhancing asset performance, and delivering value for owners and investors throughout the Philadelphia region.
EDUCATION
Mike received a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Economics from Saint Joseph’s University and a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Maryland.
