Leif Aronsen

Leif is part of the Tenant Advisory and Workplace Solutions group at Transwestern. A 27-year industry veteran, he focuses on tenant and buyer representation within the Twin Cities market and nationally. He specializes in land and site acquisition in addition to serving office and industrial requirements. Leif represents a broad range of clients including financial institutions, private investors, developers, national clients, law firms, insurance companies, restaurants, and the medical industry. He is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and consistent, positive results for his clients. He is also an owner and investor in commercial real estate.

Leif has served in numerous leadership roles within the commercial real estate industry. He was a three-term President of the Realtors Board and most recently served as Past President of the Real Estate Board and the Commercial Real Estate Exchange Board. He was elected to the Executive Board of Directors for Minnesota Realtors in 2021 as the Minnesota Commercial Association Representative and served as a voting Delegate for the organization.

He currently serves on the National Association of Realtors Commercial Committee, representing Minnesota at the national level. In 2021, he was named Broker of the Year by the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR), an award voted on by his industry peers.

Beyond brokerage, he is actively involved in advocacy efforts as a Delegate and lobbyist in Washington, DC and at the local level, focusing primarily on commercial real estate issues. He has also served on numerous philanthropic, industry, educational, and nonprofit boards and frequently speaks at industry events and teaches periodically. Most recently, he was elected to serve on the Executive Board of the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Foundation as Board Secretary.

Leif earned his bachelor’s degree in management and marketing from the University of Northwestern.
